Instructions for making the AISBackup Restore CD

The following WAIK packages may be used to make the AISBackup Restore CD:
- Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) size: 992.2 MB.
This is the smallest download and does install and run on 64-bit and 32-bit Windows 7. - Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008 size:1375.9 MB.
- The Windows® Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows® 7 size 1706.6 MB.
This version can only be used from AISBackup build (364).
This version takes a long time to prepare the final disc image.
- Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) size: 992.2 MB.
- The AISBackup Restore CD must be made on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008.
- The PC been restored must have at least 512MB RAM installed.
- The version of AISBackup must be at least 2.7. build 330 or build 364 to use the Windows 7 version of WAIK.
- As an alternative to making an AISBackup Restore CD a 32-bit copy of Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 set-up DVD may be used, along with a copy of AISBackup on CD, external drive or USB Flash drive. AISBackup does not work with a 64-bit copy of the Windows Vista or Windows 7 set-up DVD, however 64-bit operating systems' may be restored using the 32-bit AISBackup Restore CD.
- The AISBackup Restore CD may be used to restore Windows NT4, Windows 2000 (client and server), Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008.

After downloading the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK) it must be copied to DVD prior to installation, the AISBackup Tools / Extra Tools / Burn ISO Image menu option may be used to make the DVD. Once you have made the DVD run set-up to install WAIK onto the PC. Click Next to continue.
